About Dr. Victor M. Ochoa:

I joined Sacramento Heart & Vascular in the summer of 2010 after completing my cardiology training in San Francisco. As a native Northern Californian who hails from the agricultural epicenter of the central coast, I am very excited to establish roots in a similar community from where I grew up in.
After finishing high school in Monterey, CA,, a desire for a change of scenery took me to the East Coast where I would spend the next 12 years of my life. I completed my undergraduate studies at Harvard, followed by medical school at Dartmouth and internal medicine training at Yale-New Haven hospital. While I thoroughly enjoyed my time in the northeast, I opted to return to my home state for the final stages of my training. In 2006 I moved to San Francisco for my cardiology fellowship at UCSF where I had the privilege of learning from some of the best in this field.
Now, I am delighted to be part of as great an institution in Sacramento Heart & Vascular as my previous educational experiences (characterized by excellent staff and talented colleagues). More importantly, I am honored to be able to provide cardiac care to such an eclectic population. I look forward to seeing you in my clinic, I will try my best to exceed your expectations and deliver the medical care you deserve.

Soy parte de Sacramento Heart y Vascular desde el verano del 2010 depues de completar mi educacion en San Francisco. Como un nativo del Norte de California que proviene del valle agricultor de la costa central, me da gusto establecerme en una communidad similar a la de mi ninez y adolescencia.
Despues de completar mis estudios secundarios, un deseo de explorar nuevos horizontes me llevo a la costa del este donde vivi por 12 anos. Complete mis estudios universitarios en Harvard, seguido por la escuela de medicina en Dartmouth y residencia en medicina interna en el hospital de Yale-New Haven. Aunque disfrute mucho mi estancia en el noreste, decidi regresar a mi estado natal para completar mi educacion cardiaca. En el 2006 me mude a San Francisco donde tuve el privilegio de ser parte de UCSF y aprender de grandes cardiologos.
Ahora, me siento gustoso de otra vez ser parte de una gran institucion como Sacramento Heart y Vascular (caracterizada por un personal excelente y colegas muy talentosos). Pero mas importante, tengo el honor de proveerle cuidado cardiaco a una diversa comunidad. Espero verles en mi clinica, tratare de superar sus espectativas al brindarles el buen cuidado medico que se merecen.
