Michael D. Fugit, MD, FACC

Michael D. Fugit, MD, FACC, is a board-certified cardiologist and internal medicine physician. He works with patients at Sacramento Heart & Vascular Medical Associates, with two locations in Sacramento and additional locations in Davis and Jackson, California.

Dr. Fugit earned his medical degree from the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California, formerly known as the University of Southern California School of Medicine, in Los Angeles, California. He completed his internship and residency at UC San Diego Health, formerly known as the University of California at San Diego Medical Center, in San Diego, California. 

Dr. Fugit completed a cardiovascular medicine fellowship at San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium in Houston, Texas. He also completed an interventional cardiac catheterization fellowship at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in West Carson, California. 

Dr. Fugit is a member of the American College of Physicians, the American College of Cardiology, and the American Heart Association. He holds several certifications, including a certificate in nuclear cardiology. 

He looks forward to treating new and existing patients at Sacramento Heart & Vascular Medical Associates.
